Designing Creativity with Purpose

Design is the subtle balance between the pull of beauty and the gravity of function.

Biography:

My story began at the age of 12, when I plunged into the world of 3D design. It was then that I realised that the art of transforming an abstract idea into a concrete image is not only a creative challenge, but also a never-ending exploration.

But my journey was not limited to the world of design. As a space engineer at ESA, I work every day on the design, orbiting and operation of satellites that connect, observe and understand our planet. Every detail counts, every calculation is important. This scientific rigour feeds my design practice. I see each project as a mission. A mission that requires thought, strategy and passion.

Whether it's branding, website design or social media management, every project I undertake is an exploration in its own right. One of my favourite projects, creating the graphic identity and online presence for L'Atelier de Zadig, a restaurant in Berck, was a moment when I had the opportunity to marry creativity and precision, to combine an artistic vision with a functional and strategic need.

I'm driven by the idea that design shouldn't just be a pretty face. It must meet a need, have a function and, above all, be accessible. Design that can be understood, that speaks to those who use it, that guides them effortlessly. At every stage of my career, whether as a designer or an engineer, these are the principles that guide me: create to inspire, but also to last, in a world where aesthetics and functionality must always go hand in hand.

For me, each project is a bit like a space mission: you have to calculate the trajectories, align the elements, but above all, keep the final objective in mind. And at the end of the day, what counts is that the design serves a real purpose, that it works and that it leaves a lasting impression.
